Established May 7th 2024, Ken Smith (10-8 Pours). I enjoy pouring both sand cast and pressed pieces. Silver and brass are my favorite metals to pour. Pouring is a hobby for me and I enjoy bringing new pieces to life. All my pours are hand poured and crafted. I enjoy collecting silver and unique sand cast pieces as well.

Late 2020 I Started casting.My original reason to start casting was to make my own Pirate treasure. I have bought and sold metals for decades. But most are boring or to perfectly manufactured. I love the rawness and soul of sand cast pieces. Had done aluminum casting in junior high. Then later In life for a company I worked for. Investment cast a couple times 20 plus years ago. I understood the concepts watched some video and started casting with a simple mapp gas torch and melting dish. Now cast using a propane furnace. I do some original pieces hand carved in wax or wood. I also use existing items for casts. Arrowheads, Acorns, keys, bullets, etc.
